Ku Hak-rim, 39, has been identified as the Korean onboard AF447

The one Korean passenger on board Air France flight 447 has been identified as Ku Hak-rim. Mr. Hak-rim was the head of the Vietnamese affiliate of an Seoul shipping company; he was on a business trip.

The airline initially mistook Mr. Hak-rim for a Vietnamese or a Lebanese because of his address and name. He had been living in Vietnam since he was named the head of the Vietnamese firm in March of 2007. He frequently visited France and Brazil on business trips.

Mr. Hak-rim is survived by his wife and two children living in Vietnam.

The airline initially mistook Ku for a Vietnamese or a Lebanese due to his address and name, according to the official.

I know him. He’s a nice man and colleague who’s been stationing in Vietnam for 2 years. I felt shock when I heard the news from my senior who had just met him before he left Vietnam for Brazil on a business trip.
Personally, as no information till this moment, I still hope something special would happen just like a fairy tale.
